Pecsteen Castle is a castle located in the village of Ruddervoorde, belonging to the municipality of Oostkamp in West Flanders, situated at Hillestraat 41.
The first buildings on this site likely appeared in the early 18th century. Around 1725, there was mention of a playhouse that was moated, along with stables, barns, an orchard, and a vegetable garden. It was then owned by lawyer Charles Martin de Cuyper. Through a sale, it eventually came into the possession of Charles-Jean Dhont in 1783, an entrepreneur and notable. In 1798, it was inherited by Anne-Marie Dhont, who married Jacques-Philippe Pecsteen in 1800. This is how the estate came into the hands of the Pecsteen family.
