Built out of timber, concrete and glass, the Théâtre de Liège comprises a total surface area of 7,800m2, combining modernity and heritage to perfection. Columns, mouldings and gilding are side-by-side with designer Vitra furniture from the Jean Prouvé collection, to create a clean but oh-so-very warm atmosphere! Besides its theatrical and choreographic programme, the Théâtre de Liège hosts within its walls a multitude of events and activities, mixing all cultural sectors (music, literature, contemporary art...). To do this, it works with cultural and economic players from Belgium, but also from Euregio and Europe (Rome, Paris, Berlin...).
