Description

Bütgenbach lake, which has a surface area of 120 ha and is fed by the Warche river, is a touristic asset for the village. The “Worriken” sports and leisure centre, established in 1979 on the lake’s southern shore, provides facilities for fishing, sailing, swimming, canoeing and also windsurfing. An artificial beach, a camp site, restaurants, 48 furnished tourist apartments, an ADEPS centre (sailing school, tennis, cross-country skiing, and more) and all-purpose sports halls (including a swimming pool).
