Enjoy an unbeatable view of the region by climbing to the top of the Leroux tower. To earn it, you’ll need to walk up 65 steps! Situated to the east of Trois-Ponts, the tower forms the finishing point of a 6 km-hike which has its start to the right of the railway bridge 200 metres away from the station. The 16 m 65 cm-high watchtower dominates the valley of the Salm where deciduous trees and conifers alternate. It offers a splendid panorama and some interesting points of view, such as the upper lakes of the Coo-Trois-Ponts hydro-electric power station, the little villages of Brume, Mont-de-Fosse, Bergeval, Saint-Jacques and, when the weather is clear, Baraque de Fraiture, which is in the neighbouring province of Luxembourg.
