The village center is dominated by the classical Saint Bavo Church from 1775-1777 with its octagonal tower. Above the church door adorns the coat of arms of the Bette. Marquis Emmanuel Ferdinand Bette (1724-1792) was indeed the builder of the church and owner of the municipality.
