The Église de la Trinité (Holy Trinity Church) dates back to 1910. In the cemetery of Ligneuville lies the grave of Monsieur Hawarden, an eccentric woman from the previous century, who passed herself off as a man her entire life. The Flemish author Filip de Pillecyn, who lived and worked in the area for a time, wrote a subsequently darkly adapted but beautiful novella about Monsieur Hawarden. If you enter the cemetery at the arrow, the third grave on the right is that of Hawarden.
