On the Edelareberg, along the N8 Oudenaarde-Brakel road, there is a pilgrimage site in Kerselare dedicated to Our Lady of Kerselare. Traditionally, the parish of Pamele-Oudenaarde was given the stewardship of this pilgrimage site. Since 1953, a car blessing has been held on Ascension Day, and there is also an annual fair where local candies, the "lekkies," are consistently sold, as well as dried whiting.
