On top of the Ladeuze we are close to Our Lady of Kerselare, the most famous place of pilgrimage in the Flemish Ardennes. It all started five centuries ago with a simple statue of Mary in a cherry tree. The modern, concrete church replaces a chapel from the 16th century, which later burned down completely. In the month of May, the month of Mary, around fifty thousand pilgrims come here to visit.
