Froidlieu is a small village in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. It is located in Sohier, a district of Wellin. Froidlieu lies two kilometers north of the center of Sohier.
The territory of Froidlieu was formerly divided between the duchy of Bouillon, in the prince-bishopric of Liège, and the duchy of Luxembourg. The Liège part was dependent on Lavaux, while the Luxembourg part, which included a few houses and the church, was part of Wellin.
