The Tramstation or the Tramstatie is a former tram station in the Belgian city of Zottegem. The station of the National Company of Local Railways was built around 1900, as a three-part brick complex consisting of the station building, a workshop and a spacious depot with workshops. The tram station served the Zottegem-Wetteren and Zottegem-Ninove lines, which were abolished in 1939. At the beginning of the 1990s, the two tram lines along which the vehicles were brought in were still located in the central aisle. The right and central aisles were well preserved and had an iron Polonceau roof with a wooden truss inside. The right aisle was badly dilapidated; Only the side walls were still standing. In 1981, the OCMW of Zottegem bought the tram station, after which it served as a joinery and depot for more than twenty years. At the end of the 1990s, the station building of the tram station was renovated and included in the social housing project of the housing company 'Denderstreek' as a place to live for five families. The repair shop and the large depot were demolished.
