The Sauvagèrepark is a public park in Uccle, in the Brussels-Capital Region. The area is part of the forests and open spaces in the south of the Brussels region, a habitat directive area of Natura 2000.
The park, with entrances on Verrewinkellaan and Eikenboslaan, dates back to the nineteenth century and is inspired by English gardens. Originally, the estate was much smaller and only included a castle with a long avenue and some groups of trees. The park was further expanded to its current size in 1910 and 1925. During World War II, most of the trees were felled. The dilapidated castle was demolished in 1957 after a long period of vacancy, and in 1964, the estate came into the hands of the municipality of Uccle.
