The St. Lambertus Church is the parish church of the village of Gulke, which belongs to the Belgian municipality of Limburg, located on Rue de l'Église.
The parish was originally part of the parish of Baelen but was already separated from it in 1145, as the area was then donated to the Rolduc Abbey, which was the mother church of Bilstain and Limburg. The St. Joris Chapel of Limburg became a deanery church in 1460, and the St. Lambertus Church became a daughter church of this St. Joris parish.
