Sovimont is a hamlet in the village of Floreffe, in the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse department, in the province of Namur. Administratively it is part of the municipality of Floreffe, in the Walloon Region. Before the merger of the communes in 1977, Sovimont was already part of the municipality of Floreffe. This hamlet is built to the south of Floreffe on a promontory overlooking two small valleys carved out by streams - to the west and east of the hamlet - and joining to the north to flow into the Sambre at Floreffe. These valleys are crossed by three national roads: to the west the national road 90 then the national road 922 going up to Sart-Saint-Laurent and Châtelet and to the east, the national road 928 going up to Buzet and the Six-Bras de Bois-de-Villers.
