The visitors' center Groene Vallei of Natuurpunt is beautifully located at the edge of the Silsombos, from which various walks start.
Bar Bruis takes care of the catering and offers walkers and cyclists passing by a nice setting where original drinks and dishes (small snacks or full meals) are served.
Through a car-free bike/walking path, you can easily reach the neighboring municipality of Nederokkerzeel, where it's also great (flat) cycling further towards Mechelen.
