Overmeers Nature Park

Hikers and nature lovers can fully enjoy the greenery and beautiful water features here.
In this area of about 7 hectares, you will find wet and dry meadows, woods, and rugged pieces of nature. At the center lies a large pond. There is also an educational zone with a pool where you can observe aquatic life up close. In these many biotopes, various plants and animals feel at home.
Go exploring or settle down on one of the benches with a view of the most beautiful spots. Here, you can spot herons and ducks. We hope to welcome kingfishers on the steep bank of the pond. In the summer, sheep help manage the meadows.
This is a nature reserve. Especially during the breeding season (April – June), peace is important. Please stay on the paths. Do not startle ducks, sheep, kingfishers, other park visitors, etc. Keep your dog on a leash.
