This relatively large refuge can sleep up to 6 people. It is located 100 meters from the hiking trail, in a wooded area with a view of a forested slope above the Bocq valley from the plateau above the sleeping area. The refuge consists of two levels (both accessible with a separate ladder) and is suspended around an oak tree, hanging in free space. On the first floor is the sleeping area, above it a panoramic platform. This work was realized by Belgian artists Nicolas Bourguignon and Xavier Willot.
From the train station in Ciney, it is about 8 km walk along the signposted Sentier d'Art. Lighting a fire is not allowed, and there is no water supply in the immediate vicinity. The lower-lying Ferme de Stée (along the hiking trail) opens on Friday afternoons and on Saturday from 10 am with a farm shop selling cheeses and other fresh agricultural products. About 150 meters from the Levitas shelter, there is a centuries-old lime tree along the dirt road to Braibant (not along the Sentier d'Art) next to a Saint Donatus chapel.
