This beautiful area of bocage, about twenty hectares, extends over the right slope of the Biron stream valley, to the west of Biron, a hamlet of Soy in the municipality of Erezée. It includes significant shrub masses alternating with more or less meager pastures, hay meadows, and calcicole meadows. The botanical interest of these meadows is particularly highlighted by the presence of several remarkable species, including the glaucous lady's mantle (Alchemilla glaucescens), of which only two or three other locations remain in Wallonia, the clown orchid (Orchis morio), declining everywhere, and the earth nut (Bunium bulbocastanum), a very localized umbellifer typical of harvests and calcareous lawns. Part of the bocage was recently acquired by the Natagora association with a view to completing the local network of its natural reserves.
