The municipal children's farm 'Barelhoeve', which officially opened to the public in 1974, has grown out of an existing dairy farm. You can still discover life on a real farm here. There is a museum with old agricultural tools, various hands-on and learning paths, and a farm shop with delicious, fresh farm products!
Want to pay the farm an original visit? Then the story route is highly recommended! Lowieke, the main character, takes you on a journey through all the animal enclosures in an exciting story. You can read this story at the sixteen sheds set up along a route of 1.5 kilometers. Each shed has a tactile game and a kid-friendly quiz. There are also fun facts about the surroundings and animal tracks. Highly recommended!
