A visit to the former brick factory Frateur shows how handmade bricks and tiles were made, dried, and baked, both by hand and later mechanically. A walk through the drying sheds takes you to the clamp kiln and ring kiln, as well as some typical workers' houses. As a conclusion, you get a panoramic view of the brick factory terrain and the typical landscape of the Rupel region.
Group visits: possible every day by reservation through Tourism Rupel region.
