Dadipark was a 12-hectare large recreation park in the village center of Dadizele. It existed from 1950 to 2002. After its closure, various rescue plans were proposed; nevertheless, the park was demolished in 2012.
In June 2016, it was announced that Dadipark would become a green recreation and residential area. The name 'Dadipark' will remain. The design costs for the new urban district will be covered by Dadipark NV, the municipal government of Dadizele, and the province of West Flanders. The buildings near the park will also receive a new purpose. The Free Primary School 't Brugske agreed with the former owner (the Church Fabric) to purchase and renovate the buildings on the condition that the government takes on part of the funding.
