As you make your way to the ferry between Kruibeke and Hoboken, you can enjoy nice views of the polders of Kruibeke, the largest flooding area in Flanders. It only floods a few times a year. On all other days you can walk, cycle, and play here without problems. The landscape is varied, with mud flats, forests, and meadow bird habitats.
