Near Spoor Noord you'll also find… Spoor Oost. This 10.8-hectare expanse of land is less known but is also worth a visit. In fact, if you’re into industrial archaeology, you should definitely go. Enormous railway cranes shape the appearance of this former railway site, which also has picnic benches, playgrounds, and sports areas, including basketball courts and football pitches, tennis courts and a cycling course. Since 2015, Spoor Oost has also been home to one of the country’s biggest fun fairs. Have you ever tasted karakollen or lacquemants? Then you’ll have to visit again, to go to the annual Sinksenfoor.
