‘The Hell of Deurne-North’ is the nickname of the legendary Bosuilstadion, home of the Royal Antwerp Football Club. In 1923, the first stands were erected here, in the middle of undeveloped fields. The opening match was an international game between Belgium and England, ending in a 2-2 draw. Over the years, the stadium has regularly changed its appearance, with the most recent change being a new ‘Tribune 2’, opened in December 2025. Next to the stadium lies the Bremweide, a spacious green area designed by the world-famous landscape architect Jacques Wirtz in the seventies. Perfect for fun in the playground, a walk, or a jogging tour!
