Le jambon de la Semois

Located between Membre and Bohan, the viewpoint “Le Jambon de la Semois” is one of the most impressive of the Ardennes.
The Semois makes a majestic bend of two kilometers in the shape of a ham. Hence the reference to this Ardennes specialty.
The slopes and the whole of the hills form the main part of the National Park of Membre-Bohan. The importance of this nature reserve of 177 hectares consists mainly in the remarkable panoramas it offers. Some natural sites : the ravine of Sautou, le Châtelet, la Cheminée, la Roche la Dame, la Table des Fées et ses Arbres fiancés : all picturesque spots.

Le Griolou in Laforêt is special because there is a rock there that children used to slide down ('ils griolâient').
