In the Sint-Arnolduspar k in Tiegem, in addition to the large Sint-Arnolduskapel, there is also a rock chapel , a stone open pulpit and a former hermit's cave. There used to be souvenir shops here too.
About the stone open-air pulpit in the shape of a hollowed-out tree trunk : according to what they say in Tiegem, the rock that stands there below the mountain would have been a tree in the past. They used to plant it like an ordinary tree, but it has become a rock.
Next to the chapel there is a staircase with a cement tree trunk with the inscription: 'PATHWAY TO THE MIRACULOUS FOUNTAIN '. The stairs descend to three successive ponds separated by cement bridges. The ponds are conceived as a cascade system.
