This chapel is located at the intersection of rue de la Vallée and rue Saint-Roch.
It is dedicated to Saint-Gilles.
Roc de Montpellier (Montpellier, 1295 - 1327) is a French saint. He is counted among the six plague saints . As soon as he could, he gave away his inherited fortune to the poor , and in 1317 set out on foot for Rome . He also cared for the sick, especially those affected by the plague, and soon made a name for himself healing some with the sign of the cross. On the return journey he was struck by the same plague in Piacenza. Therefore, he is often depicted with his leg open . So also here in this chapel.
