This carousel has been on the small beach of Ostend since 2021 . This fairground attraction is open all year round.
The manager has completely restored this 50 year old carousel from France . It was given a new floor plan and some new elements were added, but with an eye on preserving the original.
Each panel on the top of the carousel has been repainted by hand. You can see paintings from the Sint-Petrus-en-Pauluskerk, the Mercator, the Kursaal, etc. Even the seals, which have their resting place not far from here, had a place on the carousel.
