Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes - Somme-Leuze

Located on Rue Veille Leuze, this chapel is dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes.

The ND Chapel of Lourdes replaced the Saint-Roch cross in 1933 and bears his name.

Not so long ago, a cast concrete Christ stood on the top, which has now disappeared. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that every year the master builder bought a plaster statue for the altar of his aedicule. So the chapel is a bit like a museum of Sant Roc: around Our Lady of Lourdes, Saint Monon and her calf, the Infant Jesus of Prague, Saint Joseph, Saint Donatus, Saint Margaret, Saint Rita, Saint Eloi and Saint Roc. .

And again, at the feet of the Virgin, Brother Mutien. On the wall hung a large Sacred Heart, an imposing Sainte-Brigide. A beautiful statue of Saint Roch was placed in a safe place to protect her from temptation.

Above the altar, three wooden panels represent the Virgin Mary, the Sacred Heart and Christ on the Cross.
