Contrary to what the ominous name might suggest, this forest area is an earthly paradise for plants, animals and visitors !
With its 540 hectares , the Vagevuurbos and the nearby Lippensgoed-Bulskampveld form the largest forest complex in West Flanders. Bruds, ponds, pine and fir trees adorn the landscape. Various animals, from amphibians to birds and mammals, find their way to this green oasis. The Vagevuurbos and the Bulskampveld are part of the Bulskampveld landscape park.
