The Hanenbos is a nature reserve in the Belgian municipality of Beersel. The area is 69 hectares in size and is owned by the province of Flemish Brabant. The provincial domain consists of two areas, one part that is focused on recreation and another part that is focused on nature education and consists mainly of forest. An important characteristic of the Rooster Forest is the sometimes very pronounced relief of some parts of the area. In addition to the forest itself, there is also an arboretum in the domain.
