This wagon stands as a memorial for the Holocaust Museum in the Dossin barracks.
Contains the following text:
Between August 1942 and July 1944 , 28 transports brought 25,628 Jews, Gypsies and Sinti from the Dossin barracks to the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination facility. The last 9 transports were carried out with a freight car like this one.
There is also a memorial in front of the barracks : the six uneven bars of the original railway line symbolize the 6 million Jewish victims of all ages.
