This standing stone represents a dialogue between the far and the near.
Delimited by stone, this open space emphasizes the idea of balance and harmony and underscores the spirit of openness of the Tournay-Solvay Foundation.
The golden sphere , elevated by the two curves, evokes the architecture of the Serenia Residence and the devotion to the resident, sustained by the benevolence of the whole institution.
Resembling a door through which the light of the rising sun enters, this statue reveals the Porte de France bridge on the west side.
The statue was designed by Jean-Paul Couvert and erected on June 21, 2019.
