Its shape is the reason why the 203-metre-long Collegebrug bears the name 'snake bridge' and characterises the skyline on Buda. Pedestrians and cyclists cross smoothly from Buda Island to the trendy Overleie neighbourhood. You will find the summer bar Amorse on one foot of the picturesque bridge. In the warm months, this is one of the hotspots of the Kortrijkzanen to take a breather on the banks of the Leie. A little further on, skaters, bladers and BMXers live it up in the skatebowl. On the other side, the artwork 'Mother Earth' rests in the grass.
