Together with his father Francis Maere, he runs the Francis Maere Fine Arts Gallery at Kouter in Ghent.
But during the summer months, the two are taking a different approach.
They are now focusing on works by contemporary artists and showcasing them in a beautiful setting.
This time not at their usual location in city palace Falligan at Kouter, but in a stunning 17th-century farmhouse, just before the Ooidonk castle.
The art expo Art for sale is the priority.
The summer bar BARASART is more of a supplement and supports the exhibition, Arnaud Maere explains.
Visitors can admire 150 works by 25 contemporary artists in various spots around the farmhouse.
