“The little pond in the middle of our play forest is very popular with children. They can freely search for salamanders or paddle their feet here. In our visitor center, they can also borrow a 'nose backpack.' Inside, there are assignments and materials like a net and a magnifying jar. If you come here during the school year, you will often encounter classes coming to do water research.”
“The play forest is located right next to the visitor center and is the only place in the nature reserve where you can play or build camps outside the walking paths. The pond is also one of the stops on our 'stoeberpad,' the nature discovery path for children that we opened in 2021. Along the way, they will encounter nine play elements linked to animals living in the area. These include a rabbit tunnel, a wobble bridge, and a buzzard nest.”
