Upon exiting the station, there are high reliefs hanging along both sides of the large entrance. In those sculptures, you can see what the neighborhood used to look like: with small medieval houses - the residents and their professions are inscribed in gold leaf. The Empress Avenue, to the right, owes its width to the underground tracks. As a result, it has the grandeur of a boulevard. To meet those proportions, it is lined with high-rise buildings.
