The Taverne du Barrage is located near the dam of Nisramont. The dam is built at the point where the Western Ourthe (53 km) and the Eastern Ourthe (46 km) converge, forming the Ourthe from this point. The dam was originally constructed to supply the region with drinking water. There is also a hydroelectric power station and a wastewater treatment facility nearby. The lake of Nisramont, with its 47 hectares, is one of the most idyllic spots in the Ardennes. It is a tourist attraction for hikers and water sports enthusiasts. The lake is situated in the heart of the Nature Park of the Two Ourthes. Enjoying the beautiful terrace by the water!
