evocation: Great historical evocation 1914-'18
On the castle domain of Zonnebeke, you are taken back to the Great War. More than 150 re-enactors from seven different countries bring evocations and demonstrations around the theme 'home front' including recruitment, training camps, a Belgian-Dutch border post, a British tent camp, German soldiers' amusements, and Russian prisoners of war... a unique 'historical' experience!

expert fair: Real or fake?
Who knows how rich you might be? On Heritage Day, you can go to Zonnebeke for the free appraisal and identification of collectibles or oddities found in the attic. Various experts in antiques and militaria will explain what is 'real' and 'fake', and how to recognize 'doubtful cases'.
