In Wetteren, graffiti artist Cazn created a large portrait of Wim De Craene in 2022.
It's a tribute to the singer, 30 years after his death. The Wetteren municipal council was unaware of the artwork's arrival. "But it's a pleasant surprise," says Alderman for Culture Robbe De Wilde (Groen & Co.).
Wim De Craene, known for his hits "Tim" and "Rozane" , grew up in Melle, a town next to Wetteren.
Gunther Baeyens , better known by his stage name Cazn, is a graffiti artist from Wetteren . His previous work includes a 350-meter-long mural on the Deurganck Dock in the port of Antwerp.
