Over de citadel van Namen kunnen we kort zijn: het is vooral prettig om er met de motor in zigzag naartoe te rijden, en als je eenmaal boven bent, er met volle teugen te genieten van het panoramische uitzicht over de stad Namen en de vallei van Samber en Maas. Voor de slingerende weg met de haarspeldbochten heeft men zelfs een naam: de Route Merveilleuse. Elk jaar wordt hier de Grote Prijs van België Motorcross georganiseerd.
