Varied light hilly bike ride through fields, urban areas, and patches of forest.
The first section through Kumtich, Willebringen, Neervelp to Lovenjoel is rather rural.
The middle section south of Leuven is more urbanized and also passes by the Abbey of Park.
Then it goes through a greener forest area, first through the Heverleebos and along the beautiful ponds of the Zoet Water.
Finally, from Sint-Joris-Weert, it dives into the Meerdaalbos and the Mollendaalbos all the way to Bierbeek.
The last part from Bierbeek is again more rural along small villages and farmland.
