Zwin Walking Route

Get to know the Zwin in Knokke-Heist. In this varied landscape of dunes, forests, and polders, storks feel completely at home. From the Zwin Nature Park or the Oosthoek, we stroll through the Zwindunes and -polders and explore the Hazegraspolder. We step over old sea dikes that testify to the struggle against the sea. We walk through the densely wooded Koningsbos, along paths in the Zwin forests, and among the Scottish Highland cattle in the Kleyne Vlakte. Finally, we are rewarded with a grand view over the Zwin Plain where birds of all shapes and sizes come and go.

This walking route is integrated as a suggested loop in the Zwin walking network map. There will be no separate folder with a map for the walking route, but the signposting will remain. If this route is too long, you can choose a shortened loop of 9.2 km.
