You actually take a wide tour around the castle area. Did not see the castle itself / started at the church parking in Spiere, then first towards the canal and from there to the old railway route: after crossing the main road you arrive at a section where you can see far and see the hills in the distance. You walk without elevation changes. Done in beautiful spring sunshine and quite doable, but it can be cold in the wind.
