A ride around the Paalse Plas. I register this ride as “recreational,” but it is perfectly doable on a racing bike.
Recreational because I'm cycling along some narrow but paved roads.
I ride solo, so no problem. It's also doable with one or two cycling buddies.
This route is therefore 100% paved and runs along low-traffic roads. As of March 2022, there are works on Gerhagenstraat.
I cycled on Sunday, and that was no problem. During the week, I don't think you can pass through there.
That's why I've posted this adjusted version on this forum.
This way, you can get back to the original route.
When around the Paalse Plas, be mindful of walkers and golfers.
Nieuwe Dijkstraat between Schaffen and Engsbergen has a bike path on the left side.
Best rideable along a somewhat busier road, but not easy to get to from Engelbeekstraat.
On Sparreweg, stay left of the road because you have to turn left after 100 m.
