Hyacinths are in bloom from around mid-April, so plan your visit in late April or early/mid-May. The spring flowers then provide the forest with different phases of flowering and color. Hallerbos is very popular. Exceptional this year is the wonderful hyacinth scent that has filled the forest for days. With roaring peaks and songbirds, this makes a walk in the woods a wonderful and relaxing experience. Hyacinths are now in full bloom. But above the sea of purple-blue flowers, countless beech and oak leaves are added every day. The crown roof will gradually close in the coming days, and sunlight will no longer reach the flowers.

If you don't want to walk among lots of other people, we recommend planning your visit in the early evening.
