This Pasar treasure hunt in Mechelen starts and ends at parking Eekhoorn (Vrijbroekpark), Mechelseweg 60 in Mechelen - N51.01653° E4.45180° - what3words:  ///randweg.begeeft.zonnige
If you come from Mechelen, turn right 100 m before the intersection of Uilmolenweg behind the parking of Procter&Gamble.

INTRODUCTION
Our 4 km search takes place in the Vrijbroekpark, a green lung of 65 hectares on the edge of Mechelen. The ideal place to walk, enjoy on a terrace, exercise, or admire the plant collections. The rose garden shines in the heart of the park. The history of the Vrijbroekpark dates back to 1620. It consisted of meadows that only a limited number of people could use. The Vrijbroekpark even had its own administration. In 1929, the province of Antwerp bought this piece of land and opened it to the public.
Tip: Brasserie ’t Park at the end of your journey is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

THE SEARCH
Along the way, you will be presented with a question at 4 locations. You will see the questions when you click on them on the screen of your smartphone. ANSWER 1: The 2^nd digit of the century to be searched is the 1^st digit for the number lock of the treasure. Make sure to note this well.
 

QUESTION 2
Bridge. Count the number of bolts with a round head on the floor of the bridge. Tip: each floorboard has 2 bolts. Reduce the obtained number to one digit through stacking (see further).
ANSWER 2: The reduced digit is the 2^nd digit for the number lock of the treasure. Make sure to note this well.
What is stacking? In stacking, the goal is to reduce a number to 1 digit. You do this by adding up the digits of the numbers together; you may need to repeat this until only 1 digit remains. For example 2560 = 2 + 5 + 6 + 0 = 13 = 1 + 3 = 4

Hiking junction. Calculate the difference between both numbers on the hiking junction pole.

TREASURE
Go in search of the treasure and open me with the last digits from question 1 to question 4 (from left to right). A small test: the sum of the digits you found = 16. Follow the instructions in the treasure chest you opened and participate in our free contest with great prizes.
