Bayehon Waterfall

At the Bayehon waterfall (13 km)

The Bayehon waterfall is a 9-metre-high waterfall located near the Belgian village of Longfaye, located at 510 metres above sea level. According to Wikipedia, it is the highest navigable waterfall in Belgium for kayakers. In winter and spring, it's definitely worth (carefully) descending into the gorge to see the sparkling water. In summer and autumn (especially after a dry summer), the "waterfall" is just a small mountain stream.

Spruce, old oaks and marshy soils. You will encounter all this on this walk to the highest natural waterfall in Belgium. Nine meters high is the Bayehon waterfall, which forms here one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Eastern Townships. To get there, you walk from the starting point into a narrow valley via a steep path. Climb and climb a little higher and you can even see the waterfall from above. On the way back, you can still enjoy a beautiful piece of bog. One surprise after another on this trip.
