A breath of delicious pure air in the heart of the 'Bois de Solre' forest, enjoying a beautiful view of the old quarries. The Bois de Solre is a large forest that mainly consists of oaks, beeches, and hornbeams, not to mention the pride of the forest: an oak tree over 400 years old. Along the route, you will see old Dutch border markers that marked the border between France and the Netherlands in 1819. The areas of biological importance, located in the heart of a forest on the right bank of the Thure, invite relaxation with their ponds and water features where at least 9 species of amphibians breed.
