From Celles, you follow the Stations of the Cross to the Ermitage. The view from above is stunning, and the architectural homogeneity of the village stands out. The small valleys of the villages Lavis and Gendron harbor a diverse fauna and flora. You walk on a chalky soil characterized by meadows with fragrant flowers. Further on, heading towards Gendron-Gare, the echo of the murmuring Lesse resonates in the forest. Fast-flowing in the Ardennes, here it gives up and gently meanders through the landscape. From Chaleux, a dead-end hamlet, the route takes you to a beautiful viewpoint and to the village of Furfooz. Its limestone houses add yet another idyllic image to the lovely walk. And as the icing on the cake, the fairytale Castle of Vêves appears.
