Walk of 5 to 10 km in Lompret - On foot, around Lompret

This walk takes you to the place known as 'la filature' where there was an iron foundry in the 19th century. The vegetation along the Eau Blanche is exuberant. The Calestienne is a region where nature thrives abundantly. There is a beautiful diversity in the forests, oak groves, and combinations such as ash and alder woods. This can be explained by the richness of the limestone soil and the slightly acidic water of the Eau Blanche. Shortly after leaving the valley, you ascend to the hilltops and their fields. Further on, the path winds through a beautiful undergrowth as a precursor to the return to the village. In the center, you cross the old inner courtyard of the feudal castle that has become the main road.
